First Aid Responder Level 3 (VTQ) is a course designed to give you a higher understanding of first aid and enable you to assist people further.  The course covers many different subjects to ensure you know the different options and treatments.  If you choose the practical or blended version you will have hands-on practice of responder skills locally via our network of approved and monitored instructors.

This course includes the latest CPR and Coronavirus recommendations.

You can choose to take this course 100% online using our video online training, blended by completing the online course and adding a practical session locally with an approved ProTrainings instructor or 100% classroom.

We offer many other responder courses including regulated qualifications like the Level 3 FROS and the Level 4 FPOS courses.

This course can be completed as the online part 1 of a 2-part blended course. After completing this online course, you may find and attend the classroom-only part 2 course and cut down on the number of days spent in the classroom.

Occupations that may use this qualification:

  • Medics
  • Community First Responders
  • Workplaces where a higher level of first aid is required
  • High-risk workplaces
  • First aid instructors
  • Fire services
  • Ambulance services
  • Close protection
  • Firearms officers
  • Offshore workers
  • Wind turbines
  • Coastguard
  • Anyone needing a more advanced out of hospital care course with no prerequisites

This course comes with 15.0 hrs (40.0 class) of CPD, although the time to complete the course online may be less than this. Total course time includes 11 hours and 32 minutes of video training as well as knowledge reviews, final test, remedial help and reviewing downloaded material.

The content of this and all our courses has been independently certified as conforming to universally accepted Continuous Professional Development (CPD) guidelines and come with a Certified CPD Statement as well as a ProTrainings Certificate and for online courses an Evidence Based Learning statement.

For details of the video online course visit our First Aid Responder training website - www.profirstaidresponder.co.uk/training

The course curriculum will vary depending on if you take this course 100% online, a ProTrainings Responder course or an externally regulated responder qualification.  Contact us or your instructor for more information.
